relationships vs friendships.

my friend serene, just broke off with her bf. and guess what? she realizes that she has been too dependent on her bf way too much. so much that she had already lost so many friends and now she has regretted, but it's all too late. she was crying and sobbing for the entire night just now and all that i can do is to lend her a listening ear, comfort her and assure her that she'll meet more people as the day comes. then, i sent her to sleep. i hope she learns her lesson. never to put all the eggs in a basket.

so what if you had a bad quarrel with your guy? it's your FRIENDS who will be there for you. so what if you had conflicts with your friends? it's your other FRIENDS who will be there for you too. yup you will be asking, then what about your bf?

well, because in his stand he's your guy and a male.
he doesn't understand your plight too well like a girl friend does.
you need advices and such from someone who knows, you see.

if:

you realize that you feel very empty without your guy,
your world is only him, him, him, him and just him,
you dont know who to turn to when you had a quarrel,
you had no one to go out with when your bf isn't around,
you put him above everything else in the world including your family,

then, you are in danger.

that is why, i do not put my boyfriend above my girls; not now not in the future. and i wouldnt approve of anyone who will be, because that shouldnt be the case. you need to at least balance yourself between the both; relationship and friendship. sad to say, a very true fact is that, no one in this world is that reliable to stay with you FOREVER. so what happens if the person leaves you? your world came crashing down not only because of the departure, but also because you are left with NOTHING. so i tend to get very frustrated when people ditched their friends due to boyfriends for small reasons that are not sufficient enough to throw your friends aside.

birthday chalet was.
awesome much, yet tiring.

this year was a blast !

the only flaw will be that baby isnt around beside me, and i feel a lil tad sad. nah, quite sad. but it's okay, more birthday(s) in the future. and baby said he's gonna compensate me right? hiakhiakhiak. sorry baby, i had to like hang up on the phone so many times with him cos i was way too busy with my guests. he must have felt so lonely in the cold hospital room. aww~

you know, i am so grateful and so very thankful to all the people i have in my life. be it temporary or permanent people, or love ones that i will have for life. i'm so glad you all came into my life one way or another and yes. thank you to all, for making yesterday night such a blast.

yong for helping me so much on everything he can, treating me to kfc, titbits, mogu mogu, jagabee. accommodating to whatever i need. hahaha. doing my customized cake alone while his cousin was behind watching him squatting down to paste the icing. walked out in the big hot sun with me and engchiang even after his shower just to get my ordered wholesale food, often kenna bullied when me and eileen "forced" him to choose either 1 of us and putting words into his mouth eg saying he wanna bring us to watch the stars and yet betraying our love etc :X he's like a 2nd bf, haha but more than that, my best friend.

adelyn for helping me with the photography and the organizing of people etc i really must thank her for that. ohya. did i mention that she, elissa and mingyi went cycling and got back my bling heart stud which i dropped at mingyi's chalet previously? they cycled till that far? i was pretty shocked man. i thought it would be gone forever. ah ha. evan for helping me to decide what to wear else i'll worry so much. they're like my left and right hand (:

baby helped me plan what to order for my bbq etc, slept for 2-3 hours aftermath.
cabbed home from there at 2 in the afternoon. stayed awake till now.

back from mingyi's birthday celebration.

cab fare was $24+ from EUNOS to TAMPINES. like scam or what? if that's so, i'd rather cab from my house all the way already ! so retarded to take a 45mins 966 bus to eunos, missed the stop and alighted at i-don't-know-where-is-it and no choice but to hail a cab. and i asked the 966 bus driver(a cheena)whether did the bus went past eunos he said ya. and when i asked him how do i get to tampines, he said he don't know, right away without thinking. i thought it's all in the east and he should know somehow? like they should get some basics right to guide us noobs from the west what? i'm so in need of help and all that he gave me was, "go find it yourself" that look. DAMN. feel like complaining now man.

so. i was grumbling to em when i reached okay. damn fedup. went to get mingyi's present; was a cigg case with lighter and don't know what stuff on it. multi-purpose lighter haha. and cabbed over aftermath. attitude of the taxi uncle, sucks like what like that. cos we don't know where is the place and circling around the private houses and he became like, so impatient and stuffs like that. c'mon ! where has all the good service gone to? furthermore, the meter is still running on so what the hell is wrong with him?




anyway, we finally reached =.=" it was a two-storey bungalow with a dining place, kitchen, 4 rooms, living room, bbq pit, swimming pool and a 2people swing beside + a v spacious balcony.

elissa, adelyn + me walked out as we wanna get some drinks. all the way out okay. so after we got our 2.4litres of coke, mineral water and lemontea, we cabbed back. lols. such a short distance by cab. sat by the poolside with adelyn, then mahjong-ed with nelson, stanley and adeline for a while, sue-ee and bf came. chitchat slack and they went back in the wee hours. we moved our stuffs up to the master bedroom, mahjong-ed with mingyi, nelson and elissa. played small amount and i'm the biggest winner heehee ! :D



dozed off after browsing adelyn's cakes and muffins book. the choc fondant looks so tempting man. woke up after sleeping for 3 hours. rise and shine.






me and elissa tried knocking them to wake up but they are just lazy pigs okay. we tried all sorts of ways, esp adel. she's immune to noises already ! then both of us were tired of waking em alr so we went downstairs and microwave-d hotdogs :D.








slacked on the sofa watching cartoons. omg. i hate cartoons can.
then when it was time, we woke em up again with all our might. haha. finally.








packed our stuffs. walked out to get a cab. uncle willing to take in 5 people, provided that we pay extra 2buckaroos. so why not? i'm perspiring like nobody's business okay ! so it was still early for check-in and we went into the ARCADE to play :D ! i can't remember the last time i stepped into one. haha. had so much fun playing the taigu stuffs. hehee. ADEL LOST TO ME OKAY ! :X

and then checked in at downtown east kbox for K-Lunch. it's been awhile the last we had K-Lunch hahaha. ZJ was working there and she got an extra mike + extra jug of lemon honey on top of our drinks + extend our time. shiok or what? haha. the food was quite slow but the chawanmushi is soooooooooooo yummy ! :D












sang till 2+ and walked around downtown for awhile before heading home.

so i skipped work and i've already got the mental preparation that i need not work anymore, but it's okay haha ! :D the company really SUCKS okay. no worker benefits AT ALL, yet demanding us to do LJ stuffs like maid like that, who can stand it man?
